Widget Support for iOS App

This article describes the widget functionality of the KleverKey app for iPhone.

By using a widget, a KleverKey lock can be opened directly from the smartphone's lock screen with just one click.

Adding widgets to the lock screen

With iOS 16, you can add widgets to the lock screen to get information at a glance, such as the temperature, air quality, battery level, or to open KleverKey locks.

1. Place your finger on the lock screen until the “Customize” button appears, then tap “Customize.”
2. Tap “Add Widgets.”
3. Tap or drag the widgets you want to add to the lock screen.
4. When you're done, tap the Close button, then tap “Done.”

The lock can then be opened with a click from the lock screen. If you are not standing in front of the lock (and remote opening is activated), you will be asked for confirmation.
