eBuSy is a flexible online booking and reservation system. Clubs, sports centres, local authorities and companies rely on eBuSy.
The KleverKey locking system can be connected to eBuSy in just a few steps, enabling even more processes to be automated.
Registered person in eBuSy gets access
When a registered person in eBuSy is assigned to a KleverKey lock (e.g. via a group), an invitation is sent to the member for the first time so that they can create a KleverKey account.
When they then log in to the KleverKey app, they can already see the corresponding authorisations and can open the locks.
If the member then leaves the club and is removed in eBuSy, the authorisation is also removed.
For all new members (after linking the systems), this works immediately.
Guest books a place, for example
When a non-registered user (guest) books a court, for example, a personalised link is automatically sent to him. With this link and his smartphone, he can then conveniently (without an app and registration) open the locks.
Notes:
RFID cards of registered persons
If a registered person already has an RFID card assigned in eBuSy, this card can also be imported into the KleverKey system.
If the serial number (UID) of the card is not stored, the card must be manually assigned to a member via the KleverKey portal after the member has accepted the invitation. The serial number of the card can be read with a smartphone (app) or a desktop reader if it is not stored in eBuSy. The serial number has approximately the following format: 047F3E2A03648000 (numbers 0-9, letters A-F).
First-time import of registered persons
Already registered persons can be exported in eBuSy (CSV file) and then imported in KleverKey.
Setting up eBusy
To connect KleverKey to eBuSy, the following steps must be taken once:
Create an API key in KleverKey
In the KleverKey portal, go to Account->Api Key and generate a new API key using the (+). The key is only displayed once and should be copied to the clipboard before closing the dialog. Attention: This API key must be stored securely and must not be passed on under any circumstances.
Create a device in eBuSy
In the eBuSy backend, go to Control->Configuration->Devices and create a new KleverKey client.
Name: e.g. KleverKey
Organization ID: see the KleverKey portal under Organization->Settings
API key: insert the API key from the clipboard
Assignment of access rights to persons
Now, individual persons or groups can be assigned different locks.
