Poor connection

Gateways connect over WiFi to access points and locks connect over BLE to gateways. For all these connections a Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) is displayed. That way, you see how well your gateways and locks are connected. The RSSI levels are shown in the Admin dashboard or on the gateway/lock details page.

If the RSSI is very poor, the connection to the gateways and locks is unreliable. You have to make sure that the RSSI is at least good, in order that KleverKey works without problems.

You can do the following things to increase the connection quality:

• Move the gateway closer to an access point
• Move the lock closer to it's linked gateway
• Place gateways directly on the wall instead of inside something
