The aim of this article is to show you the functionality and the value of our admin dashboard for organization admins.
The great advantage of the dashboard is to provide you all important information of your KleverKey hardware at a glance.
- Login as administrator to the KleverKey Portal: https://portal.kleverkey.com
- The admin dashboard will appear right away since this will be your favorite site as an admin
In the middle, you'll find a large bubble which is representing the KleverKey Cloud. Everything is connected to the cloud and therefore, it's placed in the center of the dashboard.
Your Gateways
Connected to the Cloud you'll see all your Gateways with a health status.
- Green Tick: Everything is alright
- Orange Warning Triangle: You might have to check the status of your Gateway
- Question Mark: No information available (e.g. Gateway is not configured)
When you hover the Gateway bubble with your mouse, you'll find all important information about your Gateway:
- Last seen: When was your gateway last seen by the cloud
- Connection: Shows you whether the Gateway is online or offline
- Firmware: Version of Gateway firmware. Could be easily updated from the portal
The signal strength indicator between Gateway and Cloud shows you how good the connection is.
Your Locks
Every lock is linked to a Gateway and you'll find the health status in the overview.
When you hover the lock bubble with your mouse, you'll see more information of your lock:
- Last seen: When was your lock last seen by the cloud
- State: Shows whether your lock in a locked state or an unlocked state
- Power source: How good is your battery
- Memory usage: When you grant a permission for a lock, this will use memory space
- Synced: If all permissions are synced with the Lock or if a sync process is still pending
- Connection: Shows you whether the Gateway is online or offline
- Firmware: Version of Gateway firmware. Could be easily updated from the portal
A click on the lock bubble will directly bring you to the lock where you can change settings or update the firmware.
