This article shows how to add a KleverKey smartcard to the organization and then assign it to a user.
How to add your own smartcard (e.g. credit card, e-ID or SwissPass) to your account is explained in the following article: ISO14443A Karte oder Swisspass hinzuzufügen
Add KleverKey smartcard to the organization
- Login to the KleverKey Portal
- open "Hardware" -> "Smartcards"
- Press the "+" at the bottom right and select "Add Smartcard"
- Hold the included QR code in the camera and name the card (QR-Code lost?)
- Recommendation: Also write it directly onto the card, so that the different cards can be kept apart
Assign KleverKey smartcard to a standard user or administrator
- Login to the KleverKey Portal
- Open "Organisation" -> "User"
- Select a standard user or an administrator
- Choose "Smartcard invitation"
- Select smartcard and change its name if desired
Note: If the user already has a smart card, no additional smart card can be added.
Assign KleverKey smartcard to an employee without own KleverKey account
- Login to the KleverKey Portal
- Open "Organisation" -> "User"
- Select the managed user
- Press the "+" at the bottom right and specify the required information
- Now the smartcard can be handed over to the user
